IntelliScanner Pro 300 barcode scanner released
IntelliScanner has released the US$299 IntelliScanner Pro 300, a barcode scanner designed for small/medium-sized business and education users.
It offers barcode scanning into any application with USB 2.0 plug-and-play keyboard emulation and support for all industry standard barcode types, including UPC, EAN, Code 128, Code 39, ITF, and Codabar. Included with the IntelliScanner Pro 300 are examples and documentation for FileMaker Pro and Microsoft Excel integration.
You can configure the IntelliScanner Pro 300’s functionality by scanning smart configuration barcodes. The device has output adjustment for advanced deployments, including end-of-text character modifications and barcode identification. There are triggerless scanning modes for kiosks and self-service deployments. An IntelliScanner Self-Securing Cable System is designed to prevent accidental detachment of the barcode reader during use.
The IntelliScanner Pro 300 has support for current barcode standards, including UPC/EAN conversion and Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) barcodes. It comes with Code 39 barcode fonts for adding ready-to-scan barcodes to invoices, papers, and any document in any application and includes pre-printed IntelliScanner Asset Tags for instant tracking.
The IntelliScanner Pro 300 package includes an IntelliScanner USB barcode reader, seven-foot self-securing cable, Collection 2.0 media management software, Business Integration Kit software, 100 pre-printed asset tags, and documentation. It works with Mac OS X 10.2 or later and is a Universal Binary app so runs natively on both Power PC and Intel Macs (Under Mac OS X 10.4 or higher).
