PEACOCK Bros has introduced the first completely new mobile/portable label, tag and receipt printer from Zebra Technologies. The Road Warrior RW420 has raised the standard of portable printers available in Australia by including more features and options than any other mobile printer device.

Presented in a rugged and modern new design, the Road Warrior 420 has a long list of standard features. Powered by an advanced 32-bit architecture for high speed processing the RW420 has smart battery management, LCD screen, 4-button control, 4MB of Flash and 8Mb of Ram memory and prints at 203dpi and yet still weighs under 1kg.

For the latest in reliable mobile communication the RW420 can be fitted with Bluetooth or 802.11b wireless connectivity or connect directly to systems via USB, R-232 and RJ-45.

To suit the transport and logistics industries, the RW420 can be installed into any vehicle. A vehicle mount kit, cigarette battery chargers, or use long life batteries are available. For the warehousing and retail industries, the Peacock Bros supplied RW420's can be fitted with a shoulder strap, hand strap or a soft case for easy carrying.

Unique to the RW420 is the optional Smart Card reader for scanning magnetic and swipe cards as well as a barcode scanner for linear and 2D barcodes.

The RW420 is also capable of printing standard fonts, bitmapped fonts, scalable fonts and international characters as well as user-defined graphics and logos.

Peacock Bros can advise and supply the best media for printing needs. The RW420 is capable of printing on direct thermal tags, receipt paper, synthetic media, UV coated media and a range of labels printing up to 104mm wide.
